Melissa Kingston is passionate about both physical and mental strength. She knows there’s more to building a strong body than lifting weights. An expert in sports development, she specializes in working with both individual and team athletes committed to reaching their full potential.

In addition to a well-rounded program that includes nutritional guidance and setting challenging -- yet realistic -- goals, when you choose Melissa, you get a results-oriented professional who will help you integrate discipline and determination, and teach you to love your body’s new capabilities.

A certified personal trainer with Definition Fitness since 2003, Melissa is a certified by the American Council on Exercise and the International Fitness Professionals Association. She began her career in fitness in 2001.

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology along with her Master of Science degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, with a specialty in Sport and Exercise Psychology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

Lance Scott has a performance-based approach to training fitness with added emphasis on form, intensity, and functional movements. Lance believes that a well-rounded, structured workout program, including diet and nutrition, will improve your health and your performance.

His training programs challenge both physical strength and mental toughness as you pursue your goals. When you choose to work with Lance, you'll get a passionate professional who is well-educated in body mechanics, nutrition, and rehabilitation. You'll also find your workout programs are constantly varied at random and always performed at a level of high intensity.

Lance has been a certified personal trainer with Definition since 2001. He currently holds CrossFit Level I and Level II certifications. He began his career in fitness in 1999, but has been in the industry most of his life.

Lance earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, with a minor in Psychology, from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, where he also played football.

Colleen Lehane

Colleen Lehane is passionate about succeeding on physical, emotional, and nutritional levels. She believes in working out, reaching goals, and then setting more – regardless of your age or physical condition. Colleen has experience in a number of areas, including athletic strength and conditioning, weight loss, endurance, geriatric, and general fitness.

Colleen develops well-rounded programs that include functional movements, strength and high intensity training, and nutrition and weight loss guidance. When you choose to work with Colleen, you get someone who is willing to go above and beyond the basic requirements of the job to help you achieve your goals. Indeed, you may find yourself accomplishing things you've never even considered.

Colleen has been with Definition Fitness since May 2008. She holds a CrossFit Level I certification with a strong background in functional training from the Institute of Human Performance.

Colleen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, where she was a member of the swim team.

Alex Hunt specializes in many different types of training, including cross training and plyometrics. He develops customized sports-specific programs, as well as those aimed at enhancing weight-loss, body building and toning, functionality, speed, agility, coordination and stability.

When you choose to work with Alex, you'll get a professional who takes your relationship beyond the traditional trainer – client relationship. You'll get a teammate committed to working side-by-side. Alex will push you beyond your breaking point until – together -- you achieve your goals.

Alex has been at Definition Fitness since 2007, and is certified as a personal trainer by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.

Alex attended Daytona State College in Daytona Beach, Florida, on a baseball scholarship, where his main focus was Sports Management.

After losing more than 50lbs herself, Lynda emigrated from her native UK to Los Angeles, California to start her fitness education, her career and eventually went on to open her own gym, Train Inc. Through her passion for health, her certifications and life experience, Lynda understands the emotional and physical implications of poor fitness and nutrition and has dedicated her career to helping others learn about their bodies, change their lifestyles and help them fulfill their best potential.

To Definition Fitness, Lynda hopes to bring her no nonsense yet friendly approach to personal training and especially looks forward to being an integral part of a growing team. She specializes in weight loss, post injury training and works closely with Physical Therapists and Orthopedic doctors to ensure safe and effective training program design.

Lynda has been with Definition since July 2011. She holds the following certifications with National Academy of Sports Medicine: NASM Integrated Core Stabilization Training, NASM Integrated Neuromuscular Stabilization Training (Balance), and NASM Fundamentals of Human Movement, as well as the certifications mentioned above. Lynda Linforth has been helping clients of all ages and abilities change their lifestyles through health and fitness since 1998.
